The director of the Energy Faculty of the National Polytechnic University shared that by 2026 the university will become 100 percent green, which will save 153 thousand euros every year. Until recently, these institutions were dependent on electricity only from the grid, and used natural gas or diesel fuel for heating. By participating in such projects and installing solar power plants, companies not only make an important contribution to the improvement of the environment, but also help the institutions located there to achieve the goals of education and community development.

It is estimated that the installed solar power plant with a capacity of 358 kW will supply more than 492 thousand kWh of electricity per year, which will ensure almost 90% of the annual electricity needs of these institutions.
